I was so looking forward to his book coming out. I absolutely loved the first two. However, when I downloaded this book it just didn't seem to hold my interest like the first 2 did. It starts off kind of slow for me. The main reason I loved the first 2 books is the main male character was not like a lot of the usual ones you find in these kinds of books. He was mean and sometimes you hated him and then he would do something and you would start to like him again. He was always keeping your emotions on a roller coaster. In this book though Arturo is your basic main male character and he just kind of lost what I had liked so much about his character. The book does get better towards the end though and does have some good twists at the end. I think Pamela Palmer should have stuck with the original thought to have 2 more books. This book just kind of felt rushed and there was so much stuff going on that a lot got lost along the way.

I loved it. It was a great ending to this trilogy. I am now looking to read some of Pamela Palmer's other series.
Reading now...have read the first two and have been patiently waiting for the release of this last one. Pamela Palmer is a fantastic writer, never disappointing, and always keeping you intensely reading till you've finished her books!!!
I was beginning to think it would hang eternally. I very much enjoyed this book and appreciated the closer. Of course the three books must be read in order. Warning these books are a bit rough to read, but a good series.
Just finished reading all three books in this series (the only way to read cliff hangars). Seriously---way too many battles, too much blood, just constant fighting. Needed to have more romance and less gore. Was this written for adults or 12 year old boys? Enough already with the decapitation and tortures.

I have really enjoyed these books. It's a different take on Vampires and at times is very brutal series. A little majic, love, blood and guts! The story involves another deminsion where people can get sucked through or kidnapped and taken to Vamp City to be fed upon, used as slaves or tortured to death.
Wow great ending to a series that's a must read. In a new world where vampires an werewolfs an others live in darkness is filled with what it would, be like to be cursed to darkness. Certain people can come threw from the real world an discover this place. You really need to start with first book to understand this story. Worth starting from beginning for sure!
